The State Duma deputy from the LDPR asked the FAS and the Central Bank to check the legality of the decision.
For the first time in the last twenty years, Sberbank’s management has decided to increase the monthly cost of notifications for Russians.
The credit institution explained that the move was caused by a twofold increase in business volume over the past five years. According to the SB, both the growth of the transactions themselves and the types and number of messages are recorded.

Depending on the type of card, the price will increase by 10 rubles per month, amounting to 40 or 70 rubles. The new rules will start working on August 1.
According to RIA Novosti, the decision was made against the background of new sanctions that were adopted by the European Union against the bank.
At the same time, State Duma deputy from the LDPR faction Vasily Vlasov said in his Telegram channel that he had sent a request to the Central Bank and the FAS with a request to check on the fact of the increase in the cost of notifications.
According to him, almost all Russians use Sberbank notifications.
“The guys from Sberbank quite already?.. 100 million multiplied by 10 rubles per month is equal to a billion every month ”, – calculated Vlasov.
He believes that the controlling organizations should check the legitimacy of such a step.
