In just one year, the number of resumes decreased by 12-17%.
Experts explain this situation by the fact that people are not ready to work for low salaries. At the same time, the work is hard, experts say in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Russians do not go to supermarkets for vacancies of movers, cashiers, sellers because of the long working day, Dmitry Yanin, head of the Board of the Confederation of Consumer Societies (CONFOP), is sure.
In the future, this situation may lead to a decrease in the quality of service.
There will be a shortage of cashiers, and self-service cash desks will not cope with the load.
To remedy the situation, the expert advises offering decent salaries to local residents. But there will be a reverse situation – food prices will rise due to expenses.
Previously, retail chains have already complained about the lack of staff. In some regions, supermarkets are only 65% staffed.

Most of these employees work in the banking sector, the information sector, insurance companies.
