The Ministry of Labor of Russia has listed the regions in the country where there is a high level of poverty. The regions where the lowest level of poverty was recorded were also named. Only according to the latest data, the number of citizens in Russia who receive below the subsistence level has reached 17.8 million people over the year.

According to Rosstat, which were announced by representatives of the Ministry of Labor at the Community forum, the most poor are in Tuva – just over 34%. In Ingushetia, a third of citizens receive little. The number of poor people in Kabardino-Balkaria reaches 24.2%.

Interestingly, there are a lot of poor people in Altai-above 23%, reports TASS.

The subjects where wealthy citizens live are also named. These are the Magadan and Sakhalin regions, Chukotka, Tatarstan, and the Kursk region. These regions also include Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Experts also listed ways to get out of “anchor poverty”, when “the family is deeply poor”, and parents cannot give a good education to their children.

The region should have high employment and a good socio-economic policy with a developed social contact. In particular, families should promptly pay benefits, make payments only to those who are in need.

Recall that Vladimir Putin in the summer of 2020 set a task for the Government to reduce the number of poor people in the country in 10 years. By 2030, the number of poor citizens in Russia should be 9.5 million people.

As Topnews wrote earlier, Vladimir Putin decided to make payments to some Russian citizens.

Among them are pensioners – they will be given 10 thousand rubles, and the military – they will be given 15 thousand rubles.
