Imported food products that are at risk due to sanctions are named

Experts explained what awaits the goods on the shelves of grocery stores.

The media reports on the fate of imported products that are supplied to Russia, against the background of sanctions imposed by the EU, the United States and a number of other countries against the background of events in Ukraine.

Experts say that in the worst case, supplies from some countries will be replaced by the purchase of products in others.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing the opinion of the interviewed experts, they believe that the so-called direct import of food products, which Russia does not have, namely coffee, tea, citrus fruits and cocoa, is carried out from countries that have not joined the anti-Russian sanctions.

In addition, European supplies of fish and alcohol to the country continue.

Importers, as experts explain, are rebuilding their work soon, because the sharp devaluation of the ruble has led to serious market instability.

There are difficulties with circumventing sanctions and logistics, so the market will be stormy, they said.

According to the head of the Executive Committee of the National Meat Association Sergey Yushin, beef meat, which is purchased abroad, is already being sent in sufficient quantities  Russia, and pork and poultry meat in the country has enough of its own.

According to the media, in order to stabilize prices, the government announced the zeroing of import duties by the end of 2022. This affected the supply of 200,000 tons of beef, 100,000 tons of pork.

As Topnews wrote earlier, the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko called on business to nationalize, calling in the interests of the Fatherland to prevent food prices from rising.
