“We don't understand how to survive ”: the ex-head of “Alfa-Bank” Peter Aven complained that he didn't have enough money for a cleaner and a driver

The businessman said that because of the sanctions, he literally had nothing left.

Ex-Minister of Economic Relations of the Russian Federation and ex-chairman of the Board of Alfa-Bank Peter Aven complained about the situation in which he found himself.

Earlier, the West imposed sanctions against Aven, who is now in the UK.

According to the banker, he and his wife Ekaterina do not know how to live.

Recall that the EU and the UK have frozen Aven’s bank account and assets, including his luxury apartment in the prestigious St. James district of London, as well as a mansion with works of art located in the suburbs.

Aven’s fortune was estimated at 4.5 billion pounds last month, but now, in an interview with the Financial Times, he said he did not know if he would be able to pay the bills.

“Our business is completely destroyed. Everything that we have been building for 30 years is now completely destroyed,” he said, complaining that he and his wife “do not understand how to survive.”

According to journalists, Aven can be expelled from the country within about 20 days.

He has a visa to the USA and a Latvian passport, although the businessman himself would prefer to stay in the UK, where his family and child will be located.

In his opinion, in case of expulsion from the country, he will not be able to return to the United Kingdom.

Earlier, topNews wrote that the oligarch Mikhail Fridman complained about blocked accounts.

The businessman said that he could not even pay the cleaner and the driver.

At the same time, he stated that he did not know how to live.
