Putin explained Russia’s further actions following the meeting with representatives of big business.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with representatives of big business this evening.
At it, the Russian leader once again spoke about the situation with Ukraine and the subsequent packages of sanctions against Russia by the EU and the United States.
Putin called the military special operation a forced measure, since Russia was not given a chance to do something else.
All earlier attempts by Russia to negotiate, persuade and appeal to Ukraine have brought zero results.
“Well, we haven’t moved a millimeter on any issue. I want to emphasize this – a forced measure. Because they could create such risks for us that it is not clear at all how the country would continue to exist!”, – Putin explained his decision.
From the point of view of sanctions policy, Putin noted that the country’s enterprises were preparing for such a turn of events.
But even despite this, Russia remains a part of the global economy and is not going to damage the system in which it is located, the head of state stressed.
Therefore, for today, Putin called on representatives of the business community to work together with the government to find tools to support the country’s economy, save jobs and other things.
In addition, Putin, in response to the speech of the Chairman of the RSPP Alexander Shokhin, promised to provide entrepreneurs with good conditions and greater freedom of entrepreneurial activity in the current situation, and asked them to understand what is happening, actively working with the government.
At the same time, he urged the West not to push Russia out of the global economic system.
Earlier, Topnews wrote that the President of Russia made an appeal, where he announced the beginning of a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.
