The deputy head of the Security Council did not shy away from harsh words addressed to European politicians.
Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his TG channel published a post that devoted to the introduction of new EU sanctions.
The politician called the restrictive measures an idiotic idea of ex-partners, which is not capable of causing serious damage to the Russian Federation, because it has long been accustomed to and learned how to cope with sanctions. Russia has all the opportunities for further development, Medvedev believes.
In his opinion, the measures harm the West itself, for example, inflation pushes Europeans to rallies, people are in despair, the politician believes.
Well, the biggest difficulties due to their own sanctions are experienced by the frostbitten enemies of the Russian Federation, who have a catastrophic situation.
“A typical crossbow in his own ass”, – Medvedev appreciated the eighth EU sanctions package.
The consequences of such steps are disastrous for the West itself.
“Gasoline, groceries, and utilities are sharply rising in price. People go to rallies out of desperation. Politicians helplessly throw up their hands. They repeat beautiful words – like “you have to pay for democracy.” Without answering, however, the question, what the hell is such a “democracy” for””, – the politician states.
As a result, the deputy head of the Security Council believes, the measures will cause damage to the whole world, but it is useless to appeal to Russia’s Western enemies, they do not have prudence.
Therefore, Russia can only wait for the lost economic battle and end it with the complete and unconditional surrender of its opponent.
“The scattering of fragments from such an indiscriminate use of sanctions weapons – to all countries of the world and innocent people.…. Without normal international trade, chaos and poverty will be felt in various corners of the planet, the politician believes.
Medvedev believes that the West has failed to tear the Russian economy to shreds, while Europe itself is waiting for a 12-month recession.
Recall that the European Union imposed sanctions against 30 Russian individuals and legal entities, thus reacting to the admission of four new subjects of the Federation into the Russian Federation. The document is published in the official journal of the European Union.
Among the “victims ” artists Julia Chicherina, Nikolai Rastorguev and Oleg Gazmanov.
Earlier, Topews wrote that Medvedev reminded the hard-of-hearing West when Russia uses nuclear weapons.
