According to some reports, a company was secretly created in Germany to nationalize Gazprom Germania.
According to the German publication Der Spiegel, the Russian Federation burns 4 million cubic meters of gas every day. The total cost of the burned fuel is estimated by energy expert Sindre Knutsson at 13 million euros daily.
According to the expert, approximately 1/8 of the volume of all gas supplied via the Nord Stream is being destroyed.
He noted that Russia is forced to burn a large amount of gas because of Western sanctions.
The torch is located right at the fuel entry point into the main line laid along the bottom of the Baltic. Knutsson called the burning torch of Russian gas another symbol of the confrontation between Russia and the West.
Against this background, the publication Welt am Sonntag writes that the German authorities have created a holding company in order to carry out the possible nationalization of the former subsidiary of Gazprom, Gazprom Germania.
It is reported that the organization was created secretly.
Gazprom Germania has now been renamed Securing Energy for Europe. The company is under the guardianship of the Federal Network Agency of Germany.
Recall that “Gazprom” withdrew from the assets of Gazprom Germania.
Last May, Moscow announced sanctions against this company, which will cost consumers 5 billion euros a year.
Earlier, topNews wrote that “Gazprom” began burning gas that had not reached Europe.
Finnish journalists told about a huge torch on the Russian border.
