Celebrities urged to support the Russian manufacturer.
The Network drew attention to the new rules on board Aeroflot aircraft. The carrier has replaced French champagne with Russian in business classes. Economy class passengers also suffered: they were no longer offered orange juice.
The first changes were noticed by the administrators of the Telegram channel “Aviatorschina”. According to them, since the end of March, Aeroflot has replaced Piper-Heidsieck champagne with the domestic Abrau-Durso — Victor Dravigny.
Business Class passengers also get a more budget Dewar’s White Label instead of Chivas Regal whiskey.
And in other classes, passengers are offered only tomato and apple juices. They also stopped issuing children’s travel kits when departing from some cities.
In addition, some Airbus A320 aircraft no longer show movies.
According to RBC, the carrier explained that the sanctions were to blame. Now Aeroflot is taking all measures to provide high–quality services – they are resolving issues with counterparties and trying to replace drinks in business classes again.
For example, soon ground coffee in chalds will be offered again on Aeroflot planes, and French-made champagne will also return. A representative of the carrier said that they will take into account positive feedback about Russian products.
Earlier, producer Yana Rudkovskaya reacted to the news about the replacement of drinks at Aeroflot and said that it was necessary to support the Russian manufacturer. In her Telegram channel, Rudkovskaya told us that we need to live in new realities – especially since the French “waved to us with a pen.”
“It will be difficult to get good French champagne soon! So fill up your wine cellars or switch to (the name of the Russian drink),” writes Rudkovskaya.
As Topnews wrote earlier, the offices of Aeroflot were searched. Insiders report that a pre-investigation check is being carried out because of the statements of Andrei Panov, the former deputy director of the airline for the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.
