Managing Director of Inditex (Spain), which owns the Zara and Bershka brands, Oscar Garcia Maceiras made a statement to the media about the possibility of resuming work in Russia.

According to TASS with reference to the EFE agency, the decision to leave Russia was made by the Spanish side in March. The reason was the beginning of a military special operation in Ukraine.
It is known that the founder of Inditex is the Spaniard Amancio Ortega, who managed to develop a network of up to seven thousand stores in a hundred countries around the world.
The company produces such well-known brands. like Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho.
Inditex had more than 500 stores in Russia.
As Topnews reported, the brands of the LVMH conglomerate had previously announced the temporary termination of their activities in Russia.
