The German concern Henkel AG has officially announced its decision to exit business in Russia.
This is stated in the release published by the German company. It clarifies that preparations are underway to execute the decision, although the company has so far refused to calculate the financial risks.
The document states that two and a half thousand employees of Russian enterprises continue to be registered in the company and receive monthly salaries.
It is known about the Henkel group of German companies that it is the largest concern that specializes in the production of household chemicals, as well as produces cosmetics and construction products.
Under the brand there are such products as glue “Moment”, “Pemolux”, Persil, “Pemos”, Losk, “Weasel ”, Vernel, Fa, Taft, Shamtu, Schwarzkopf, Syoss, Ceresit, Metylan and others.
As RBC clarifies, back in early March, Henkel announced the suspension of investment projects in Russia as part of sanctions, and does not intend to expand sites in the country and advertise in the state Media.
However, the supply of essential goods will continue, including personal hygiene items will not cease to be supplied.
