The Kremlin has made a new statement about the upcoming sale of gas for rubles.
The Network is actively spreading the message about the purchase of the Vatican Bank rubles for 10 million euros. Allegedly, Istituto per le Opere di Religione purchased a huge amount of rubles from the Russian Central Bank to pay for gas with them.
Thus, the Vatican would have submitted to the new scheme proposed by Vladimir Putin.
Earlier, the president said that Russia would sell gas for Russian rubles. By March 31, the government has been instructed to develop the entire process of fuel shipment to Europe.
The information about the purchase of gas for rubles by the Vatican bank was reacted to by the media and Telegram channels Readovka, “Bloody Lady” and others.
“His Eminence promised us heavenly bliss on Gaza,” writes Maxim Shevchenko.
Later it turned out that the message about 10 million euros converted into rubles was taken from a humorous tweet.
He appeared online on March 28, the journalist Yulia Vityazeva notes.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin clarified that payment for gas in rubles will not begin on March 31. As Dmitry Peskov, Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, says, this process is “stretched over time.” Technologically, this is difficult to do.
“It’s not like everything that will be delivered tomorrow has to be paid by tomorrow evening,” says Peskov.
By the way, Bulgaria is also against paying for gas in rubles. They recalled that the contract spelled out dollars and euros.
French President Macron reminded Vladimir Putin of the same thing in a telephone contract the day before.
As Topnews previously reported, European countries refuse to pay Russia in rubles for gas. In this case, the change in the terms of contracts will be unilaterally on the part of the Russian Federation.
Ukraine also does not see an opportunity to pay everything in rubles, for this, EU countries must pay for gas in such a currency, and not in euros and dollars.
