The head of the energy supply company YASNO (Ukraine), Sergey Kovalenko, announced the number of houses disconnected in Kiev, whose residents were left without electricity.
According to RIA Novosti, 159,000 apartments have been de-energized in the capital of Ukraine, in just one day – this is over 320,000.
As a result, about 1 million Kiev residents were left without electricity.
According to Kovalenko, they cannot plan their day properly, work normally.
He pointed out that the outages disrupted the work of thousands of enterprises that in such a situation cannot work for the economy of Ukraine.
In the Kiev region, the situation looks no better. So, about 260,000 residents were left without electricity, over half a million subscribers were left without mobile communication. All this happened during the day.
According to the deputy head of the office of Vladimir Zelensky, Kirill Tymoshenko, on the night of October 26, an energy facility was attacked, which led to a lack of electricity supply in the center of Ukraine.
Emergency blackouts affected Kiev, Kiev, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
The company “Ukrenergo” told the agency that the equipment of the main network was damaged in the Kiev, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions, which required restrictions in the supply of electricity.
DTEK “Kiev power grids ” promised “severe and prolonged ” blackouts.
It is known that the attacks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the infrastructure of Ukraine have been carried out since October 10. This is a response to the undermining of the Crimean Bridge and other Russian objects by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
