The Ministry expects prices for non-food products to rise by 7.2%.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, prices are expected to rise by the end of this year, and most of all, according to experts of the department, non-food products will rise in price.
Izvestia writes about this, referring to the forecast of a number of inflation indicators from the Ministry of Economic Development.
Gasoline, construction materials, tobacco products, fabrics fell into the group of goods that, as the agency expects, will rise in price the most by the end of 2021.
Inflation rates in this economic sector are expected to reach 7.2% by December last year.
On average, in 2021, non-food sector goods will rise in price by 6.8%.
The Ministry of Economic Development believes that in the period from 2022 to 2024, inflation in the non-food sector will not exceed the target of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, equal to 4%.
The second in terms of price increase, according to the Ministry of Economic Development, will be food products, not taking into account fruits and vegetables.
The publication writes that here by the end of the year prices will rise by 6.6% compared to last December, and over the year the rise in price will average 7%.
In this sector, inflation is expected to stabilize in the next three years at the level of 3.8%, 3.5% and 3.6%, respectively.
According to the calculations of the Ministry, by the end of the year, food prices will increase by 5.3% on average.
Earlier, topNews wrote that the Central Bank of the Russian Federation raised the rate to 4.5%. This decision was made last spring due to inflation.
