Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law raising the minimum wage in Russia.
According to the text of the law, the minimum wage from January 1, 2023 is set at the level of 16,242 rubles per month.
Recall that the deputies of the State Duma adopted the law on the minimum wage for the next year on December 7, 2022.
At the moment, the minimum wage in Russia is 15,279 rubles.
Growth in 2023 will be 6.3%.
The amount of the subsistence minimum in 2023 is 14,375 rubles.
Against this background, Vladimir Putin said, addressing the participants of the first congress of the RDDM that the current changes in the Russian Federation and the world are for the better, and with their help there will be more justice in the world.
“I believe that these are changes for the better”, – Putin said.
He called a just world where the peoples are truly equal, everyone has the right to respect, traditions, reverence for their ancestors and the right to speak their native language.
