Bloomberg: sanctions against Russia hit Europe's energy security again

The American agency told about the aggravation of the energy crisis in the EU.

The American edition of Bloomberg, Europe has received a new blow to its energy security.

This happened after oil supplies from Russia via the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline were suspended.

Recall that the pumping of black gold was partially suspended due to anti-Russian sanctions prohibiting accepting payments from Russia.

As a result, “Transneft” was limited in the possibilities of paying for fuel transit through Ukraine and to EU countries.

Thus, Europe is waiting for an aggravation of the energy crisis, which will lead to an increase in inflation and an increase in the risk of recession.

Journalists are sure that they can suffer the most from the situation Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and the oil industry of these states is currently trying to solve the problems that have arisen.

According to the information published in the article, European banks participating in the transaction cannot make their decisions on payments from Russia.

Such operations must be approved by national regulatory authorities.

The agency reminds that companies in Europe that previously received oil for Friendship are now suffering losses. Also, these states are now forced to spend reserves of black gold.

Earlier, topNews wrote that experts expect an energy storm and chaos in Europe.

Ukraine has stopped the transit of Russian oil to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Ukraine has stopped the transit of Russian oil to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia

The Ukrainian side called the lack of payments the reason.

The company “Transneft” confirmed that “Ukrtransnafta”, which is responsible for the transit of Russian gas to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, blocked the supply of fuel through the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline system.

The reason is the inability of the Russian side to make the payment due to EU sanctions.

As Igor Demin, advisor to the President of Transneft, told RIA Novosti, this happened on August 4. Oil pumping has been completely stopped.

He also clarified that Belarus continues to pump Russian oil to Poland and Germany.

The expert explained that Kiev was pumping fuel on the basis of a 100% prepayment. However, when Russia transferred the money for transit, they returned to PJSC “Transneft ”.

It is assumed that the reason for the non-payment, which was sent by Gazprombank, was the seventh package of EU sanctions, one of which imposes a ban on servicing a credit institution. That is why, Demin believes, Ukrtransnafta did not receive the money.

The fact that payments cannot be made, according to Demin, is already known to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and Ukrtransnafta, and Russian shippers acting as oil suppliers to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been notified.

Reuters: Russian airlines are dismantling planes for spare parts due to sanctions

Reuters: Russian airlines are dismantling planes for spare parts due to sanctions

The agency reports that earlier such measures were recommended by the Russian government.

Russian airlines that have been sanctioned by the West have begun to disassemble the planes.

Thus, the owners of the vessels intend to ensure the availability of spare parts.

In particular, several aircraft, including the Sukhoi Superjet 100 and Airbus A350, owned by Aeroflot, are now on the ground and are being disassembled.

This is reported by Reuters with reference to four sources in the aviation industry.

At the same time, the agency points out that the Airbus A350 – liner, which had practically no problems with serviceability, the vessel is “almost new,” the source notes.

A similar fate befell two more Aeroflot airliners, Boeing 737 and Airbus A320, from which special equipment was removed.

The reason is that the remaining vessels need these details.

The authors of the materials believe that they took advantage of the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, which recommended airlines to disassemble some of the aircraft against the background of sanctions.

Thus, there are guarantees that in the event of a breakdown, foreign vessels will receive repairs and will be able to stay in the sky at least until 2025.

Earlier, Topnews wrote that Boeing suspended the maintenance of Russian airlines and the supply of spare parts.

Handelsblatt: EU takes gas from developing countries, refusing supplies from Russia

Handelsblatt: EU takes gas from developing countries, refusing supplies from Russia

According to Handelsblatt, Europe has decided to take away gas from developing countries in order to refuse supplies from Russia.

According to the columnist of the Handelsblatt newspaper Mathias Peer, trying to abandon Russian gas, Europe is taking fuel from developing countries.

Thus, the countries of the Old World provoke an energy crisis.

The journalist is sure that there are already problems with energy supply in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Pir notes that Europe’s desire to switch to alternative energy sources cannot be carried out at the expense of other states.

“Wanting to get rid of dependence on Russian gas, the EU is causing massive upheavals in the world energy markets, which is particularly hard on poor countries, ”, – the publication says.

As noted in the text of the article, most of the tanker fleet now goes not to Asia, but to Europe to compensate for the gas shortage.

Thus, Europe solves its problems at the expense of the developing countries of the global South.

At the moment, Europe continues to experience pressure due to tensions in supplies from Russia.

It is reported about a sharp drop in Russian gas exports after the start of its operation via the Nord Stream, as well as through the Ukrainian system, and the termination of supplies via Yamal-Europe.

The Russian Federation claims that the restriction of supplies to the Nord Stream is due to sanctions and difficulties in the maintenance and repair of Siemens gas pumping units.

Earlier, topNews wrote that Europe has solved the problem of gas shortage.

As it turned out, a country friendly to Russia decided to provide record supplies.

The point of no return has been passed: scientists have proved the imminent disappearance of Ukraine from the world map with any outcome of its

According to experts, the defeat of Russia in its own has nothing to do with it.

According to Nikita Maslennikov, a leading expert at the Institute of Modern Development, the Ukrainian economy has crossed the red line, after which no financial injections will help it, even if they amount to trillions of US dollars.

He noted that no economy in the world will live at the expense of artificial respiration alone, since it must reproduce itself.

According to experts of the Institute of World Economy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, now the country’s economy is functioning in extreme conditions. The country has lost part of its territory, and huge resources go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (36% of the budget of Ukraine).

All other areas are funded on a residual basis.

The financial assistance of the West is not confirmed by figures, besides, the real effect shows the lack of solidarity of Western society with Ukraine.

“In reality, all the efforts of international sponsors (sometimes they even talk about the “Marshall plan for Ukraine”) can only postpone the imminent collapse of Ukraine, prolong the agony in time, but not prevent death, ”, – the report notes.

According to scientists, all Western aid taken together hardly covers 7% of Ukraine’s budget expenditures, and of these 7%, only 18% are grants and interest-free loans, while all the rest of the aid to Kiev will have to be returned in the future.

With the concessions of some territories, Ukraine loses taxpayers and developed industrial enterprises.

In a month, the budget of Ukraine loses $ 1.5 billion from refugees who pay with money from cards in countries of temporary residence.

The point of no return has been passed: scientists have proved the imminent disappearance of Ukraine from the world map with any outcome of its

Experts compared measures to support the economy by the Ukrainian authorities to plugging the holes of the sinking Titanic with pillows.

“Probably, this will mean the end of the Ukrainian state in the form in which it has existed since 1992, ”, – economist Nikita Maslennikov believes. He quotes News.ru .

He noted that, regardless of the situation in SVO, Ukraine’s economy has passed the point of no return.

According to experts, if the situation does not change soon, and another $23 billion is spent, then soon the Armed Forces of Ukraine will simply have nothing to protect, empty cities without light, heat, water and residents will remain in Ukraine.

For this reason, the West no longer wants to help Ukraine, considering the money provided to be thrown into nowhere. However, Ukraine continues to hide the deplorable state of its economy.

Earlier, topNews wrote that Ukraine made a demand to compensate for the damage from its own.

The amount of compensation in Kiev was estimated at $ 750 billion.

Europe has solved the problem with gas shortage: a friendly country of the Russian Federation will provide record supplies

The EU assures that gas imports from Russia have decreased from 40% to 20%.

Europe has found a way to partially solve the problem of natural gas shortage, which was formed during the energy crisis. Anti-Russian sanctions imposed due to the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine led to this.

According to Haber7, Europe has made a bet on Azerbaijan, which will increase the supply of “blue fuel” to 11 billion cubic meters.

The country wants to break the record of natural gas supplies in 2022 – up to 9.1 billion cubic meters.

In 2023, the figure will reach 11 billion cubic meters, write InoSMI.

According to media reports, Azerbaijan has replaced Russia and is already increasing the volume of gas supplies.

Against this background, EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Chief Josep Borrel confirmed that they had made progress in purchasing fuel from Norway, Algeria and Azerbaijan.

“The harsh reality is that this winter we are approaching the limit of how much additional gas we can buy from non-Russian sources. Thus, the main part will have to come from saving energy, that is, reducing demand,” Borrel said.

At the same time, Russia’s share in gas imports decreased from 40% to 20%. And this is due to an increase in the volume of purchases of liquefied natural gas (LNG), its share in consumption has only doubled.

In mid-July, a memorandum on partnership in the energy sector was signed between Azerbaijan and the European Commission.

The EU continues to talk about increasing gas supplies, the Southern Gas Corridor is of particular importance in relation to Azerbaijan.

Recall that the Southern Gas Corridor is the supply of natural gas to Europe from the regions of the Caspian Sea and the Middle East.

As Topnews wrote earlier, Gazprom announced problems with the supply of a turbine for Nord Stream – its delivery is impossible due to the sanctions of Canada, the EU and the UK.

YLE: “Gazprom” started burning gas that did not reach Europe

The Finnish edition writes about a huge torch on the border with Russia.

Due to a serious reduction in gas supplies to Europe via the Nord Stream, Gazprom is burning excess fuel, according to media reports.

Journalists estimate the scale as industrial.

According to the Finnish YLE, referring to NASA data and eyewitness testimony, a giant torch broke out near the Russian-Finnish border on June 17.

Not far from the place of the fire there is an impression station “Port ”, which provides gas pumping.

The torch is visible on the other side of the border, the publication indicates.

The same data is available from the NASA monitoring system, despite the fact that there were no other fires during this period.

YLE: “Gazprom” started burning gas that did not reach Europe

As TASS clarified, Gazprom imposed restrictions on blue fuel on the Nord Stream, reducing volumes from 167 million to 67 million cubic meters per day in early summer.

The company said that the reason for this is the malfunction of Siemens equipment, which they refuse to repair because of Western sanctions.

Therefore, two turbines that were serviced in Canada did not arrive on time.

As Topnews wrote, the other side stated that the acceptance of the equipment was slowing down Gazprom itself, delaying customs documents.

Gazprom called the delivery of the turbine to the Nord Stream impossible

“Gazprom” called it impossible to supply a turbine to “Nord Stream”

The reasons are given.

The company Gazprom in the Telegram channel spoke about the problems with the supply of the turbine to the Nord Stream.

According to the official press release, the reason for everything is the sanctions policy of Canada, the EU and the UK. It is they who make the supply of turbines for the pipeline impossible.

It emphasizes that after the repair, the turbine is located in Germany.

But sending the unit to the Russian Federation to the compressor station “Port ” is impossible, since there are inconsistencies in the current situation with Siemens’ obligations.

It is noteworthy that Siemens, commenting on the situation, said that the company fulfilled all the conditions for delivery, while there are no documents from the Russian side.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, after inspecting the turbine, also stated that there were no obstacles to sending the turbine to the Russian Federation.

Moreover, the FRG stated that no additional documents are required to send and transport the turbine in Russia, since this equipment does not apply to sanctions.

Earlier, Topnews wrote that the supply chain of Siemens turbines to Crimea became known.
